SHIPPING POLICY
All orders are processed within 1 to 3 business days (excluding weekends and holidays) after receiving your order confirmation email. You will receive another notification when your order has shipped. The customer is required to pay shipping both when purchasing and returning an item unless otherwise informed. Certain products may not meet California Air Resources Board (CARB) emission standards and therefore cannot be shipped to that state. Batteries and battery products may be subject to shipping only via UPS or FedEx to some states depending on rules and regulations.
DOMESTIC SHIPPING RATES AND DELIVERY
We offer shipping to the 48 contiguous United States. The date of your package's delivery is subject to the shipping times applicable to the mail carrier you choose at checkout. These times cannot be guaranteed by us, as it is the shipping provider's responsibility once your purchase leaves our possession.
INTERNATIONAL SHIPPING
At this time, we do not ship internationally.
HOW DO I CHECK THE STATUS OF MY ORDER?
When your order has shipped, you will receive an email notification from us which will include a tracking number you can use to check its status. Please allow up to 48 hours for the tracking information to become available. If you haven’t received your order within 10 days of receiving your shipping confirmation email, please contact us at shopdutchmansonline@gmail.com or via the contact form with your name and order number, and we will investigate it for you.
CANCELLED ORDERS
You may cancel any order that has not shipped or is not a special order. Cancelled special orders will incur a 20% restocking fee if approved. If you refuse an order upon delivery, it is subject to our return policy.
RETURNS AND REFUNDS
You may return your purchase within 10 days of the delivery date for a refund of the purchase price minus the cost of shipping. Please submit a return request detailing your reason for your return for our approval. Refunds will be credited to original payment method within 10 days. Exclusions may apply, as noted below.
ITEMS NOT ELIGIBLE FOR RETURN AND/OR REFUND:
- Electrical parts.
- Some battery related items (unless damaged or defective).
- Engine powered equipment that has been gassed or oiled, due to federal regulations.
- Products that have been installed improperly are the responsibility of the buyer.
- Products no longer in original packaging or missing original materials such as manuals.
- Items bought with the intent to resell.
- Any products not approved for return by Dutchman’s Lawn & Garden.
RETURN SHIPPING CHARGES
If the item is shipped free, the outbound shipping cost will be deducted from the refund. The customer is responsible for the cost of shipping the item back if it is being returned.
DAMAGES / EQUIPMENT DAMAGES
It is the customer’s responsibility to inspect their purchase carefully at the time of delivery before signing the delivery receipt. Once the receipt has been signed and the item accepted, any damage claimed thereafter will require the customer to file a freight claim with the mail carrier. Please note once a claim is submitted, we cannot consider accepting a return unless it is confirmed to be unresolved with the shipping provider. If a claim is not reimbursed, we may then move forward with a return or exchange. Contact us for further assistance if this occurs with your order number and a photo of the item’s condition. We address these on a case-by-case basis but will try our best to work towards a satisfactory solution.
DEFECTIVE EQUIPMENT
If your purchase is found to be defective in any manner within 14 days after delivery, please contact us so that we may arrange any repair and maintenance covered under warranty at no charge to you.
